Legacy OS是一份基于Puppy Linux的發行。盡管其最初的定位是創建一份帶有更多應用軟件和更吸引人的桌面以面向十來歲年齡段用戶的風味型Puppy Linux，Legacy OS現在已經成長為一份通用目標發行。它帶有大量的應用程序、瀏覽器插件、多媒體編解碼器來作為標準軟件。盡管引入了這些改進，Legacy OS仍然極其適合在老舊和低配置計算機上安裝，當然也適合更現代化的硬件。
