antiX是快捷、輕量級、易于安裝的Linux自啟動運行光盤發行，它基于Debian的Testing分支，面向x86兼容系統。antiX以一套適 用于老舊計算機的環境為用戶提供antiX魔力。antiX的目標是向Linux的新手和老手提供一份輕巧但功能完整的、靈活的免費操作系統。它應能運行 在絕大多數計算機上——從64 MB內存但帶有128 MB交換分區的老PII系統到最新的高端機器。為antiX推薦的最低內存配置是128 MB RAM，而安裝程序則需要至少2.2 GB的硬盤空間。antiX也可以當作一張快速啟動應急光盤來使用。
The third and likely final beta of antiX 13, a Debian-based distribution for (not only) older computers, is out and ready for testing: " antiX 13 available for testing. Features: 3.6.11 antiX kernel for 32-bit editions; 3.7.10 antiX kernel for 64-bit editions; 3.8.10 antiX kernel available in the repository for those who want/need a more up-to-date version; dist-upgrade on 28 April 2013; Debian 'Wheezy' repository; Iceweasel 20.0 browser; default window manager is IceWM with a Rox desktop, Fluxbox, JWM, wmii and dwm are available; SpaceFM desktop option at boot; better boot menu; integration for UNetbootin live USB; installer improvements; 32-bit edition uses older Flash for PII/PIII processors; double entries removed from menu; various under-the-hood bug fixes.
