AkelPad 是一款快捷免費且文件小巧的文本編輯軟件。具有單窗口單頁面和單窗口多頁面兩種模式，可編輯超過64k限制的文件。支持Unicode 字符。支持系統已安裝的任意代碼頁。支持 DOS/Windows 和Unix 換行格式。可預覽打開的文件，多次撤消，記憶搜索替換設置，支持插件等功能。是一款不錯的“記事本”替代工具。
