高性能Web服務器：Cherokee

Cherokee 號稱是目前最快的 Web 服務器軟件，在性能上，甚至比 Nginx 還略勝一籌。與 Apache、Lighttpd、Nginx 等其他同類軟件的對比，大家不妨看看這個測試頁面。其易用性做得也很不錯。

Cherokee 的功能包括支持 FastCGI、SCGI、PHP、CGI、TLS 及 SSL 加密連接，虛擬主機，授權認證，實時編碼，載入均衡，與 Apache 兼容的 log 文件等等。

Cherokee 內含一個名為 cherokee-admin 的工具，執行后，允許管理員直接通過瀏覽器進入 http://localhost:9090/ 對其進行管理和配置。比如，開啟或關閉服務器，進行一般選項的設定，配置虛擬服務器、信息源、圖標、Mime 類型等項目。
