Porteus 3.0 發布，基于Slackware Linux發行
Porteus是一份快捷的、便于攜帶的、模塊化的自啟動運行光盤及USB介質發行，它基于Slackware Linux。該發行始于一份Slax的社區改造版本（另一份基于Slackware的自啟動光盤，但已不再維護），以KDE 3作為i486版本的缺省桌面，并以裁減過的KDE 4作為x86_64版本的桌面環境。此外還提供輕量級的LXDE可作為替代桌面環境。

for random IP from private pool when nothing is defined; configured
logrotate to rotate system logs once they reach 500KB in size; upgraded
to KDE 4.12.3; fixed mounting of NTFS-formatted external drivers;
