ReactOS 0.3.16 發布，Windows NT的開源實現

        ReactOS 是一個基于 Windows NT 架構設計原則的開源操作系統。Windows XP、Windows 7、Windows Server 2012 等均基于 Windows NT 架構。目前，ReactOS 最新的 0.3.15 版本仍然處于 alpha 階段。

        ReactOS 并不基于 Linux 或 UNIX，它的所有代碼都經過重新編寫。ReactOS 項目的主要目標是提供一個與 Windows 環境二進制兼容的操作系統，可以讓 Windows 應用程序和驅動程序在 ReactOS 上運行。

        同時，ReactOS 也提供了一個類似 Windows 操作系統外觀特性的界面，對于已經熟悉 Windows 的用戶來說，很容易學習。

        近日，ReactOS 項目在眾籌網站 Kickstarter 上發起融資項目，試圖籌集 12 萬美元開發 ReactOS 的云桌面商業發行版 Thorium Core。截止發稿時間止，僅籌得 188 美元。

Today the project announced the availability of the latest alpha release - version 0.3.16: " The ReactOS project is pleased to announce the release of version 0.3.16. A little under a year has passed since the previous release and a significant amount of progress has been made. Some of them include completion of the CSRSS rewrite and the first stages of a shell32 rewrite. 0.3.16 is a prelude to several new features that will provide a noticeable enhancement to user-visible functionality. A preview can be seen in the form of theme support which can be turned on to demonstrate the Lautus theme. Another user-visible change is a new network card driver for the RTL8139."
