Samuel Baggen has announced the release of Elive 2.1.58, the latest development build of the Debian-based distribution featuring a customised Enlightenment 0.17 desktop: " The Elive team is proud to announce the release of the beta version 2.1.58. This new version includes: Debian packages updated to their 7.3 release; when users access an NTFS-formatted disk, they are warned about possible instability; improved the image-resizing tool, which includes adding more resolutions and a smart automatic resize calculator; improved the audio converter tool - it will now give better accuracy in quality for a smaller file size. We appreciate your feedback on performance and resources usage of this beta version compared to the last stable release. Note that this development release doesn’t include an installer because it is not yet ready." Here is the brief release announcement.
