Alan Baghumian has announced the availability of the first test release of Parsix GNU/Linux 6.0, a Debian-based distribution featuring the GNOME 3.10 desktop: " Parsix GNU/Linux 6.0 (code name 'Trev') brings the latest stable GNOME desktop environment, a brand new kernel, updated installer and systemd. This version has been synchronized with Debian 'Wheezy' repositories as of December 21, 2013. Parsix Trev ships with GNOME 3.10 and LibreOffice productivity suit by default. Highlights: GNOME 3.10.2, X.Org Server 1.14.5, GNU Iceweasel 24.2.0, GParted 0.12.1, Empathy 3.10.1, LibreOffice 3.5.4, VirtualBox 4.2.16 and a brand-new kernel based on Linux 3.12.5. Other notable changes: new artwork; updated Adobe Flash player to 11.2.202.335. You can download and install the latest NVIDIA (319.76) and ATI (13.11 beta) pre-compiled drivers and kernel modules from the APT repository." See the release notes for further information.
