Skolelinux 8.0 Beta 1 發布

Skolelinux是Debian-edu項目開發中的Custom Debian Distribution（CDD）。它的目標是為中學和大學提供一份超平常的本地化環境。伴隨所謂的超平常環境而來的是75個面向學校的應用程序，以及為學校環境而預先定制好的15個網絡服務。它提供一套簡單的、三個詢問式的安裝過程，并且這只需要最低限度的技術知識。Skolelinux仍然是 Debian，這意味著，如同Debian一樣，Skolelinux不需要花費許可證費用或類似的擔心，并且軟件的升級和維護可以依靠Debian的 apt-get的力量，通過Internet來完成。Skolelinux的核心目標是本地化，以及系統管理的易用性。

      It takes up to 15 minutes for a changed hostname to be updated via DHCP

      The hostname script fails to update LTSP server hostname (#783087).
