Skolelinux 7.1 Beta 1 發布

Skolelinux是Debian-edu項目開發中的Custom Debian Distribution（CDD）。它的目標是為中學和大學提供一份超平常的本地化環境。伴隨所謂的超平常環境而來的是75個面向學校的應用程序，以及為學校環境而預先定制好的15個網絡服務。它提供一套簡單的、三個詢問式的安裝過程，并且這只需要最低限度的技術知識。Skolelinux仍然是Debian，這意味著，如同Debian一樣，Skolelinux不需要花費許可證費用或類似的擔心，并且軟件的升級和維護可以依靠Debian的apt-get的力量，通過Internet來完成。Skolelinux的核心目標是本地化，以及系統管理的易用性。

Petter Reinholdtsen has announced the second beta of Skolelinux 7.1, a distribution also known as "Debian Edu":
" The second wheezy based beta release of Debian Edu was wrapped up today, slightly delayed because of some bugs in the initial Windows integration fixes. This is the sixth test release based on Debian Wheezy. Basically this is an updated and slightly improved version compared to the Squeeze release. Software updates: Added ssh askpass packages to default installation, to ensure ssh work also without an attached tty; Add the command-not-found package to the default installation to make it easier to figure out where to find missing command line tools...."
